the Aspire HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIP​

EVENT OVERVIEW​

The Aspire Hybrid Championship is a high-intensity fitness race designed to challenge both elite and everyday athletes. Built for speed, strategy, and spectacle, the event features continuous movement, clean single-direction course flow, and an electric atmosphere that keeps athletes and spectators locked in from start to finish.

​

Races begin at 10:00 AM, with new heats launching every 30 minutes throughout the day. The final heat is scheduled to conclude at approximately 5:00 PM, creating a full-day fitness experience packed with energy, competition, and community.

​

Each competitor’s registration includes access to the Empire State Fitness Expo, featuring a USAPL NYS Powerlifting Meet, Strongman events, Jiu Jitsu showcases, CrossFit activations, live DJs, and hundreds of health and fitness brands and vendors. Athletes will also enjoy bonus experiences such as Aspire Athletic Apparel pop-ups and Total Metabolic Analysis (TMA) testing.

THE COURSE: 8 STATION HYBRID RACE​

The Aspire Hybrid Championship follows a continuous, single-direction race format with no backtracking. Athletes move through eight demanding stations designed to test endurance, strength, and work capacity.

  1. Assault Bike
    • Complete 1 mile (no time cap)

  2. Ski Erg
    • 1,000 meters

  3. Sandbag Lunges
    • 50 alternating lunges (each leg)
    • 20 kg sandbag

  4. Sled Push & Pull
    • Push x 4 lengths
    • Pull x 4 lengths
    • 230 lb sled

  5. Row Erg
    • 1,000 meters

  6. Dumbbell Squat to Press
    • 50 reps
    • 20 lb dumbbells

  7. Overhead Med Ball Slams
    • 50 reps
    • 20 lb slam ball

  8. Burpee Plate Jumps
    • 50 reps
    • 45 lb bumper plate
