I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year. Now it’s time to lock in. Summer will be here before you know it; don’t waste a moment. Let’s get after it and make this year count.

 

Change Your Shoes Please 

We’re officially into the winter months, which means snow, salt, and a bit of a mess. Please remember to bring a change of shoes when you come in for your workout. We have a designated spot for wet shoes right at the front door. This helps keep the gym clean, safe, and looking fresh for everyone.

VO2 Max TestingThis measures how much oxygen your body can use during exercise. In simple terms, it indicates the strength of your cardiovascular fitness. A higher VO2 Max means you can train harder, recover faster, and perform better. It’s one of the best indicators of overall endurance and heart health.RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) TestingRMR tells you how many calories your body burns at rest, basically, the minimum amount of energy your body needs to function. Knowing your RMR helps you build a more accurate nutrition plan, understand how much you should be eating, and dial in your goals, whether you’re trying to lose weight, gain muscle, or maintain.Together, these tests provide a comprehensive picture of your fitness, enabling you to train smarter, fuel properly, and track genuine progress over time.

L.E.A.D NEWS

 

L.E.A.D. is officially back in Troy after a 2-week holiday break, and we’re excited to get rolling again! This restart gives us the perfect opportunity to do a mini reset, refocusing on fundamentals, rebuilding routines, and helping our students ease back into consistent movement, structure, and positive habits. The goal is always bigger than workouts. Through fitness, we’re continuing to build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills that carry over into the classroom and everyday life.We’re grateful for the continued support from the Troy community and schools, and we’re fired up to keep making a meaningful impact, one session at a time
