ASPIRE NEWS

Final Spots Open –

Aspire HybridChallenge

Aspire Community, our Aspire Hybrid Challenge is just about a week away on March 28th and we still have a few spots left in our 11:00 AM class and competition. The energy around this event has been incredible and this is a huge opportunity for us as a gym and community to come together and show what Aspire is all about. If you’ve been thinking about signing up, now is the time let’s pack this event out. If you’re interested, please reach out to me or connect with one of our trainers to get set up.

Closed March 28th

Aspire Athletic Club will be closed on March 28th as all staff and trainers will be at our event at the Capital Center. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you there!

Who Will Win $1,000??

Our January Transformation Challenge has been a huge success, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who competed. This challenge truly brought our community even closer together. Be on the lookout as our trainers Trey and Gordy conduct VO2 max retesting for participants to measure their progress over the past 12 weeks. The winner will be crowned on March 28th at our event, so make sure you’re there to see it all go down!

Good Luck to our Powerlifting Crew

As you’ve probably noticed, the powerlifting crew has been taking over this past week, pushing through test days as they prepare for States on March 28th. Huge shoutout to the Gardys for building such a strong, tight-knit powerlifting family, and best of luck to all of our athletes competing!

Saint Patricks Day Giveaway

On St. Patty’s Day, we asked the Aspire community to wear green for a chance to win an Aspire / L.E.A.D. merch basket, and you all showed out in a big way. The energy and participation were incredible, but there could only be one winner. Congratulations to Captain Jack Gardy on the win!

Hyrox & HIIT Sign-ups!

Our new clubs have been absolutely crushing it on Monday nights and Saturday mornings. With the increased popularity, all participants must reserve their spot in the app before class.

• HIIT – capped at 24 spots

• HYROX – capped at 20 spots

Please make sure to secure your spot in the app ahead of time so we can run the best classes possible. Classes are free for members, but non-members will be charged $10 per class.

Protein Treats

We’ve got all-new protein treats available in the front lobby! These are a perfect grab-and-go option to fuel your day and satisfy a sweet tooth. They’re only $5 each, so be sure to grab one and give them a try before they sell out. Once they’re gone, they’re gone! Let us know which one’s your favorite

L.E.A.D. NEWS

L.E.A.D. Book Drive!

Thank you to the Aspire and L.E.A.D. family for making this another incredibly successful event. We collected an amazing number of books to give to kids in need, and we truly appreciate the support. Our book library’s first stop will be Troy Middle School!

Paige Elementary

Shonta, Conner, and I visited Paige Elementary for the first time this past Thursday, where we introduced students to the program launching at their school in the coming weeks. The morning included a fun and engaging push-up contest, and we had the opportunity to work with kids ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade.

Nutrition Skills

The kids in Schenectady are currently learning how to read a nutrition label, an important skill that often gets overlooked. At the start of each after-school program, Program Coordinator Shonta has been incorporating fun and engaging ways to build their knowledge and awareness around nutrition.

Testing in Troy Middle

Meanwhile, Coaches Matt, Bri, and I have been retesting hex bar max, push-up max, and sit-up max as we track the students’ progress. Huge shoutout to Coach Bri for putting together footage that captures the impact we’ve been making in Troy. We can’t wait to share it with you and the world!
