Here’s your weekly recap with updates, reminders, and what’s coming up at the club!

Winter Shoe Reminder:

We’re officially into winter, which means snow, salt, and wet floors.Please remember to bring a change of shoes when you come in to train.

There is a designated spot for wet shoes right at the front door. This helps keep the gym:

  • Clean

  • Safe

  • Looking its best for everyone

Aspire to Achieve (A2A) 12-Week Transformation Challenge

The challenge is officially underway, and it’s been awesome to see all the metabolic testing and results happening this week.

If you weren’t able to participate in the challenge but are interested in VO₂ Max or RMR testing, you can learn more here:


Why Does This Testing Matter?

VO₂ Max TestingMeasures how efficiently your body uses oxygen during exercise. A higher VO₂ Max means:

  • Better cardiovascular fitness

  • Improved endurance

  • Faster recovery

  • Stronger overall heart health

RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate) TestingTells you how many calories your body burns at rest. Knowing your RMR helps you:

  • Build a more accurate nutrition plan

  • Understand how much you should be eating

  • Better align goals for fat loss, muscle gain, or maintenance

Together, these tests give a complete picture of your fitness so you can train smarter, fuel properly, and track real progress over time.


HYROX & HIIT CLUBS

All clubs are:

  • FREE for members

  • $10 for non-members

L.E.A.D. NEWS


We’re excited to share that L.E.A.D. is officially expanding its programs within the Schenectady School District.

Our team is working hard to create more opportunities for kids to learn about:

  • Exercise

  • Nutrition

  • Healthy lifestyle habits
